Projects

CUAFESS Scholarship and Financial Support

The CASOR UNN Alumni Foundation Education Support Scholarship (CUAFESS) is a sessional financial support awarded to students at CASOR UNN for tuition and wellbeing. The award is open to all students in CASOR UNN who have completed their foundation school in first year and eligible from there to final year. In the last 5 years, we have given out almost N10 million in scholarship awards and financial support to 129 indigent students. This has been of immense benefit to the students, helping them to focus on academic excellence while their families are relieved of burden in these difficult economic times. We have also provided students with feeding vouchers during exam periods, to support the students with food and essential supplies.

Medical Outreach

Supported by the Alumni foundation, CASOR students fellowship, would organise and go for evangelical outreach programmes. These outreaches involve, not just sharing the gospel, but also showing love and care to the various communities around Nsukka and environs by sharing medical supplies, sanitary supplies, home care and hygiene supplies. As part of our reunion event, we have assembled a team of qualified professional medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare workers to attend to any medical needs and healthcare advice to those in need within the host community. Atleast 5 communities have benefited, with over 70 free medical consultations and essential supplies distributed to more 200 people.

Missionary Support - CAPRO Ministries

CAPRO is an international non-denominational missions agency with 857 missionaries from 27 countries and operations in 46 countries. We have supported this ministry as part of our outreach support to spread the gospel of Christ to the hinterlands far and wide.

CASOR Students Fellowship (UNN)

CASOR Students Fellowship (UNN)

Christ Ambassadors Students’ Outreach (CASOR) began in 1975 under the Assemblies of God umbrella when Rev. Cyril Onyenaedum launched a campus ministry at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, quickly followed by a second chapter at the University of Ibadan. From those two spirited gatherings, CASOR has blossomed into a vibrant, non-denominational Pentecostal-charismatic fellowship, now active across more than 110 chapters in polytechnics, colleges of education, and universities nationwide, planting churches in unreached communities and sparking transformative encounters with God.

At its core, CASOR calls every student into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ through a balanced focus on Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, and Witness. Rooted in the founding vision “We are ambassadors for Christ… Reconciling men to God” (2 Cor. 5:20), the fellowship—honoring the legacy of our first UNN president, Bro. Chima Onuobia continues to welcome all students, build lives, launch ministries, and impact the world for Christ.
